Choosing the BestPath for Extensions to Dynamics 365 Business Central

From numerous interactions with Dynamics Partners, we’ve learned that a number of Dynamics partners have embraced an isolated approach to development practices.

Executive Interview: QBS group becomes 1ClickFactory majority shareholder

Microsoft Value Added Distributor and Indirect CSP QBS group has recently acquired the majority of the shares in her strategic partner 1ClickFactory. This news was a good reason to set up an interview with Soren Fink Jensen, CEO of 1ClickFactory, and Michael Hartmann, the CEO of QBS group to explore the prospering relationship and this intensified collaboration, along with the radical changes in today’s markets for business applications including ideas on how partners should react.

Business Central: How to figure out the types of licenses, users and product names

As one of the largest cloud on Azure providers, we often get questions from our partners and customers, such as:

  • Can the same license for NAV and Dynamics 365 Business Central be used?
  • Are Business Central and NAV two different products or the same?
  • Is it possible to migrate from NAV to Business Central?

To answer these questions and provide more guidance, we decided to write this brief yet comprehensive blog post.

1ClickFactory changes representation in Benelux

1ClickFactory has, with effect from January 1, 2019, changed the representation and service to partners for the Benelux region. The change is a result of Dirk Jan Gelderblom, the representative of 1ClickFactory in Benelux, selling his 1ClickFactory sales franchise for Benelux back to 1ClickFactory. The new representative is the QBS Group, the largest Microsoft Dynamics Value Add Distributor in Europe, Middle East and Africa.

Listening to the voice of Partner to revamp the Partner experience

While many Microsoft Dynamics Partners are moving towards Cloud-first business, for 1ClickFactory, one of the largest providers of Microsoft Azure services for Microsoft Dynamics products, it is critical to ensure a great experience for Cloud partners to help them excel in this area. And all this starts with carefully listening to the voice of our partners.

In October-November 2018 we have executed the Partner Satisfaction survey for 1ClickFactory Self-Provisioning for NAV/Business Central on Azure service to evaluate the current partners’ experience with the service. In this blog post I would like to share some exciting findings that this survey revealed.

We’re delighted to announce the news of our latest award from Microsoft, which honors us with the 2018 Microsoft Lithuania Partner Excellence Award as Cloud Ambassadors.
