Microsoft is moving Dynamics solutions to a Cloud environment, which will provide services to host and run Dynamics AX instances in the Cloud. Dynamics AX Partners can already deploy Dynamics AX 2012 environments on Microsoft Azure (AX 2012 R3 CU8 demo virtual machine can be deployed on Microsoft Azure only). However, as some developers and consultants at Microsoft Dynamics AX Partner companies might not yet be familiar with Microsoft Azure, deploying an AX 2012 R3 or AX 2012 R3 Cumulative Update 8 demo environment on Microsoft Azure can be a daunting process.
