As Microsoft transitions it’s business solution offerings to the Cloud, based on Business Central, migrating your ISV solution for Microsoft Dynamics becomes crucial for the future of your business. Through the Microsoft ISV Development Centers, Microsoft offers support to make it happen.  As a first step, the "Ready to Go" Individual Validation Workshop is needed to decide which areas of your solution are ready to migrate to an app that can be promoted on Microsoft AppSource.

The "Ready to Go" program is assembled from best practices from working with ISVs that have already been validated on AppSource.  The program is designed to accelerate your ISV journey to Appsource while minimizing the investment to do so through shared experience.

The "Ready to Go" Individual Validation Workshop Objective

To validate business and solution readiness for Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central (commercial, product, marketing…) and to provide the guidance on the next steps to proceed.

The "Ready to Go" Program Schedule & Outcomes

  • Preparation: Partner receives The Ready! Kick-off Workshop checklist and prepares to present its current status for each topic, as well as answers to open questions. Partner and ISV Development Center connect online to review workshop agenda and agree on additional topics (if needed).

  • Workshop: Partner and ISV Development Center meet either online, 4 times for 2 hours each or on-site for 1 full-day workshop to discuss each title listed in the checklist to assess solution readiness, potential ways to get ready and agree on the next steps. The participants required from the Partner are generally: Business Lead, Sales Lead, and Technical Lead. The participants required from the ISV Development Center / MasterVAR are generally: Commercial Lead and Technical Lead.

  • Outcome (shared with Partner and Microsoft within 1 week of the workshop):

    A Summary Report consisting of assessment conclusion (e.g. Solution is considered ready for Microsoft Dynamics “Tenerife” OR Solution needs improvements to be considered ready for Microsoft Dynamics Business Central), high-level learnings, to do’s for Partner and other suggestions/recommendations from the ISV Development Center.

    Partner solution status assessment per each validation point with recommendations for the next step (if any).
  • Post Workshop Engagement: 3 weeks after the workshop Partner and ISV Development Center connect online again to validate and assess areas where Partner was not ready during the initial The Ready! Kick-off Workshop, but is now ready. After the post-workshop engagement, the ISV Development Center provides an updated Summary Report.

The "Ready to Go" Program Pricing and Terms

EUR 2.500 for meeting 4 times for 2-hour online sessions, including preparation and follow-up call. 

On-site option upon request.
