How to gain access to Upgrade Analyzer

Start with the "Request upgrade service" button from the upgrade page and upload the NAV solution (.fob file) for evaluation on the 1ClickFactory Partner Portal. In 5 business days you will get access to the Upgrade Analyzer and will get an email notification about the service being available.

The Upgrade Analyzer provides several out-of-the-box upgrade plans that are tailored for your solution. These easy-to-understand technical upgrade options at fixed costs enable you to discuss different upgrade paths and provide accurate upgrading estimates to your customers.

1. Here’s how to start:

  • Object upgrade - convert objects with automated tools
  • Add-ons – configure add-on actions
  • Upgrade to Events - move relevant code modifcations to relevant Events
  • RTC transformation – transform the solution to the RoleTailored client (RTC): Forms to Pages, non-printable reports to request pages, Dataports to XMLports.
  • Reports upgrade – select Classic reports to transform reports to RDLC or ForNAV.
  • Test data migration - add one test database migration to your upgrade project
  • Live data migration - add the customer's live database migration
  • Upgrade subscription - add this service to convert the solution to the newest Microsoft Dynamics versions released in the future
  • Warranty - modify the warranty for the elimination of defects (if any) within a committed response time
  • Scope clarification workshop - add this workshop to discuss and investigate the solution upgrade
  • Solution CU update - update the solution to the newest CU available at the project delivery

2. Happy with your upgrade configuration? Choose “Get proposal” to receive a proposal document to review together with commitment from 1ClickFactory on the upgrade service delivery for a fixed price.
