We believe it’s a valuable presales asset which enables your customers to explore the capabilities of the latest Dynamics 365 BC version on Microsoft Azure and to decide whether it would be useful to migrate.  Showing the demo based on real customers’ standard data is even more powerful and could help to speed up your customer’s decision!


What’s included in the service?

Migration of customer data to the standard, newest version of Dynamics 365 Business Central On-Premises (Release Wave 2, BC170 CU1), provisioned on the Microsoft Azure demo environment, valid for 30 days and accessible by 1 web client user with super user rights.

Out of scope! Please bear in mind that custom data migration, custom functionality migration, migrated database, and upgraded code are out of scope.

Each Click to Future (All-Star) partner is granted TWO (free of charge) demo environments per program year.


What are the service prerequisites?

You will need to provide the customer’s database in order to demo THEIR information on Dynamics 365 Business Central on Azure.


How long does it take?

We usually prepare the demo environment within 10 working days after a partner provides all required information and prerequisites.

How to request the DEMO environment for your customers on the 1ClickFactory Self-Provisioning platform:

  1. Access the 1ClickFactory Self-Provisioning portal using your account.
  2. Click on the Customer Installations tab on the left menu.
  3. Select a customer and click on the gear icon on the right icon menu.
  4. Select the “Request Clean Start Demo” button. This will enable you to receive not only a demo environment, but also an Upgrade Analysis that would allow you to have a more detailed and productive discussion with your customers about moving their Dynamics NAV solution to the future.
  5. Please follow the guidance you receive in notification emails after you submit a request for the DEMO environment.


How to request the DEMO environment (including an upgrade proposal) for your customers who are not yet provisioned on Microsoft Azure:

  1. Access the 1ClickFactory Business Portal/My Projects using your account.
  2. You will first need to submit a request for an Upgrade Analysis before being able to request a demo environment. This will enable you to receive not only a demo environment, but also an Upgrade Analysis that would allow you to have a more detailed and productive discussion with your customers about moving their Dynamics NAV solution to the future. Please follow these standard instructions for how to request an Upgrade Analysis.
  3. Important: When requesting an Upgrade Analysis, please write in the Comments section:
    • That you’d like to receive the free demo environment
    • When you’re planning to show this demo to your customers (so that we can set up the service accordingly)
    • The current number of named users.
  4. Please follow the guidance you receive in notification emails after you submit a request for an Upgrade Analysis.
