Seven Lithuanian growth companies to present to investors in London
Seven of the fastest-growing Lithuanian technology companies will have an opportunity to present themselves to the world's largest private and venture capital funds as well as angel investors in an international executives and investors conference "High tech innovation & investment: local to global" which will be held on June 22, 2010 in London.
During the "Start-ups" contest, which was a part of the whole event, the following companies were selected to participate in the conference: 1ClickFactory (software development company), Minatech (producer of ultrasound transducers), Vittamed (non-invasive methods of human brain monitoring), MSC (transportation and work optimization system), ActiveSec (mobile social network Eskimi), TOBEGPS (person location tracking devices and systems) and Geogoer (open transport network for finding passengers or means of transport).
"We have assessed not only innovative product and market potential, but also the organization's ambitions to develop the business outside Lithuania. We have selected companies operating in the fields of web 2.0, information, communication, medical technologies and nature sciences, which implies the diversity of growing Lithuanian businesses," says Daiva Naravaitė, member of the selection commission and founder of „AlpinaSearch".
The best selected companies will have an opportunity to present their business models to the world's largest and well-known investors. The largest international investors in modern technologies, such as „Nordic Venture Partners", „Angels Den", „Qualcom Ventures Europe" and many other will be attending the conference in London.
